The positive psychology paradigm emerged at the end of the twentieth century. This construct has found its way into Christendom, particularly seeker sensitive churches. This message examines the dangers of intermingling scripture with positive psychology, giving people the impression that they are happy and fulfilled while focusing solely on self, instead of experiencing true sorrow for sin, self-denial, the constant battle against the flesh, and focusing solely on Jesus Christ.
