Chocolate Covered Banana Bites!

Ingredients:
2-3 ripe bananas (firm but not overripe)
1 cup chocolate chips (dark, semi-sweet, or milk chocolate)
1 tbsp coconut oil (optional, for smoother melting)
Toppings (optional):
Crushed nuts (peanuts, almonds, or walnuts)
Shredded coconut
Sprinkles
Instructions:
Prepare the bananas:

Peel the bananas and cut them into 1-inch thick slices.
Melt the chocolate:

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using). Microwave in 20-30 second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is smooth and fully melted.
Alternatively, melt the chocolate using a double boiler on the stovetop.
Dip the bananas:

Using a fork or toothpick, dip each banana slice into the melted chocolate, making sure it’s fully coated.
Place the coated banana bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Add toppings (optional):

Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle your choice of toppings (crushed nuts, coconut, or sprinkles) on each bite.
Freeze:

Place the banana bites in the freezer for 1-2 hours until they are firm and the chocolate is set.
Serve:

Once frozen, enjoy immediately or store them in an airtight container in the freezer for a quick snack.
