HOW IT ALL STARTED - THE BEGINNING || Gen 2:18-25
• Gen 2:18-20 It is not good that man - This man, Adam should be alone - Although there was an upper world of angels, and a lower world of demons, yet none of them were in the same rank of beings with him, he was actually alone. And every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air God brought to Adam - Either by the ministry of angels, or by a special instinct that he might name them, and so might give a proof of his knowledge, the names he gave them was expressive of the innnermost nature of the animals. God still did not find a helper for Adam that was JUST RIGHT for Adam. A wife is a Just Right Helper for her husband, do not be less.

HOW IT ALL STARTED - THE BEGINNING . || Gen 2:18-25
• Gen 2:21-22 God forms and equips men and women for various tasks, but all these tasks lead to the same goal—honoring God. Man gives life to woman; woman gives life to the world. Each role carries exclusive privileges; there is no room for thinking that one sex is superior to the other. God caused the sleep to fall on Adam, and made it a deep sleep, that so the opening of his side will not grieve him: while he knew no sin, God ensured that he felt no pain, because one of the outcomes of sin is pain.

HOW IT ALL STARTED - THE BEGINNING . || Gen 2:18-25
• Gen 2:23-25 Adam recognizes his wife as taken from him and given to him. The conclusion of this action of God is given in Gen_2:24 , which we see in the words “for this reason” at the beginning of that verse. The words of Scripture are not open to any other interpretation. God establishes the monogamous marriage between a man and a woman. It is also the only form of living together between people that is established and acknowledged by God. Marriage is a picture of the connection between Christ and the church. We find the proof of this in the third time that Gen_2:24 is quoted in the New Testament (Eph_5:31-32 ). Therefore, any other form of living together is not only disobedience to the Word of God, but also a lowering of the glory of Christ. The latter is always the aim of the enemy, satan. May your home fulfil God's purpose for marriage in Jesus's name!

Father, we pray for all homes and their members that they may fulfil Your purpose both individually and collectively in Jesus name.

24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and shall become united and cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. [Matt. 19:5; I Cor. 6:16; Eph. 5:31-33.]
