"The true God, the God who revealed Himself to the people of Israel, chose the Greco-Roman world, with its culture and its laws, to reveal Himself gradually until the coming of 'The Plenitude of Time'. (Gal 4.4) It was these 'Semina Verbi' - these 'Seeds of the Word' in the words of St. Justin, Martyr, that the Apostles, and especially St. Paul, used to preach from the truths spread throughout the centuries among the pagan peoples.
