Polio vaccination drive begins in Gaza's Khan Younis

Crowds of Palestinians gathered at medical centers in the south of the embattled Gaza Strip on Thursday (September 5) to have their children vaccinated against polio in the second stage of the campaign. The U.N. Palestinian refugee agency UNRWA said the campaign, which has so far seen 187,000 youngsters inoculated, was facilitated by Hamas and Israel agreeing on limited pauses in their fighting.
