Jury selection for Hunter Biden’s Tax trial starts today, as the President’s son is accused of failing to pay at least $1.4 million dollars in Federal taxes.
Ahead of the trial, Hunter’s attorneys are taking another shot at getting his historic felony gun conviction thrown out - after a jury convicted him of lying about his drug use on a federal form. This time around they are saying he was proven to be using drugs at the exact time he was in possession of the gun.
Biden's team tried, unsuccessfully, to vacate the gun conviction in July by arguing the special counsel prosecuting him was unlawfully appointed
Pending the ruling, Hunter Biden will be sentenced in the gun case Nov. 13 – opening statements in his Tax trial start next Monday
