24LH08-03 Randy Richey - Bruised Spirit

Luke 4:18-19 "... to set at liberty them that are bruised." The lies the enemy bundles us with as an aftermath of so many dysfunctional things that have transpired in our lives all must be unraveled. Lies about God, our parents, ourselves ... the list goes on. Randy hammers on the lies - the strongholds, stating those are areas the Good News has not yet penetrated. What keeps you broken? Unforgiveness and bitterness are the glue that holds pain in your heart. If we are going to have any kind of victorious life in the Lord we have to learn to love people. One of the most liberating things you can come to understand is that all your thoughts don't originate with you. The enemy projects thoughts. When your spirit is damaged and wounded in any way your ability to relate normally to others, to yourself and to God is hampered, as well as your ability to trust others and God. He states that sometimes the most difficult people to minister to are those that "know". He calls it "the I know spirit". He shares numerous symptoms of a bruised and broken spirit and concludes the service with deliverance prayers.
