Whale Watching in Costa Rica - False Killer Whales, Humpback Whales, and Rough-toothed Dolphins.

On this day we chose a place to be and then various cetaceans seemed to continuously find us. Our first encounter was with a pod of a hundred, or so, false killer whales. They hung around us for about half an hour before wandering off. Then, some humpbacks surprisingly arose from the deep. I filmed them playfully dancing with some rarely-experienced rough-toothed dolphins. Then the false killer whales returned and chased them all away. When their chasing efforts were completed, the false killer whales returned to play again. They wandered off after giving us some more attention. And when the coast was clear, our humpback and dolphin friends returned for more fun.
Just another day in paradise!
