Canada: PM Justin Trudeau on N.L. school food program, end of confidence agreement with NDP – September 4, 2024

In Rocky Harbour, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Newfoundland and Labrador Premier Andrew Furey announce an agreement to expand school food programs in the province. Trudeau faces questions from the press about the NDP’s withdrawal from its confidence-and-supply agreement with the Liberal government.
Also participating in the news conference are federal ministers Jenna Sudds (families) and Gudie Hutchings (rural economic development), as well as Principal Meghan Power (Gros Morne Academy).
