Israeli assault on occupied West Bank: Army fires shots near Al Jazeera crew

Israeli military's latest assault across the occupied West Bank continues for more than a week. At least 33 Palestinians have been killed and 130 wounded since last Wednesday, the vast majority in Jenin.

Gunfire has been ringing out in Jenin, where Israeli armoured bulldozers have again been seen tearing up roads.

The Palestinian Red Crescent says Israeli forces have been blocking their ambulances from reaching the wounded.

The Israeli military has confirmed that it's used a drone to target Palestinians who, they say, were firing at soldiers. Palestinian fighters have been exchanging gunfire with the army.
