The Pioneer SA-706 is a stereo integrated amplifier giving a continuous power output of 60 watts per channel.

The power supply of the SA-706 uses discrete and separate transformers and two 12,000uF electrolytic capacitors to separately feed the class A preamp and class B power amp.

Other features include outputs for 2 sets of speakers, separate bass and treble tone controls, loudness contour, separate watt meters for each channel, LED peak indicators to warn of speaker overload, electronic protection, 2-aux inputs, 2-tape monitoring and one-way tape duplication, plus DIN tape.
