DeAndre Daley of Herbert Morrison High in Montego Bay delivered a stellar anchor leg, securing Jamaica's victory in the U20 4x100m World Athletics Championship held in Lima, Peru. Despite an earlier injury that kept him out of the annual Jamaica Boys and Girls High School Athletics Championships, Daley made a strong comeback. He narrowly missed the podium in the 100m final at the World Championships, finishing fourth and just shy of the bronze.
