This Dude was the BEST! Old School methods. If you don't have a barrel to make the charcoal dig a hole. Burn the small stuff until you see the fire has gone thru the wood. Snuff out w/ your fill dirt. Wait about an hour or fire might start back. Or go get the meat. If you can't dig just ask the old lady for some tatty blankets and wet up pretty good. Snuff w/ same. Don't have to be pretty. Keep piling on snuff material--cardboard, plastic, stones--until you see no smoke. Wait an hour or overnite or whatever...
