Cora's Series: This is Inspection #2 of Cora's nuc hive, and it's time for her to add a super so the bees can have room to expand and increase their numbers. If we're consistent and on-track, they may just produce enough honey to harvest in a few weeks. Stay tuned to find out how this hive continues to progress! Cora is doing such a great job of raising happy, healthy bees.

After transferring her bees from the nuc to the hive box (https://youtu.be/lzACrj_YTZw) and the first inspection (https://youtu.be/DwDYHpfi7S0), Cora has her mind set on some honey production. At the rate this hive is growing, she'll get what she wants! We're so happy with how these bees are managing the transfer from the nuc.

We love to see kid beekeepers get involved in this hobby. Did you get involved in beekeeping when you were a kid, or did you find the hobby later in life? Let us know in the comments!

This beginner beekeeper tutorial is a great example of how to add a super to your hive, but please keep in mind that your bees are your bees. Not any two beekeepers do things exactly the same. Be creative! Most of all, remember to not feel bad if you mess up. Chances are, the bees can fix whatever problem has arisen. If not, give us a shout and we'll try to help for next time!
