Six hostages were executed by their Hamas captors as Israeli special forces launched a daring rescue mission

Their bodies were recovered from the terror group’s underground tunnels in Gaza’s southern city of Rafah as elite troops closed in

They were among 251 kidnapped by rampaging Hamas terrorists on October 7 during a killing spree that left 1,200 Israelis dead

All but one of the six was taken from the Nova music festival where gunmen slaughtered 280 people

Their deaths leave 101 hostages still missing

Analysts estimate about only 50 remain alive

The news of the murders was announced just hours after Saturday’s top-secret mission was given the green light

The bodies were left in a tunnel just 1km from where dad-of-11 Qaid Farhan al-Qadi, 52, was found last week

He was rescued from a tunnel after giving his captors the slip to escape

Israel prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he would not rest until those responsible for their killing were brought to justice

But he is facing growing pressure at home and abroad to secure a ceasefire deal with Hamas

The Hostages Families Forum blamed the latest deaths on Mr Netanyahu’s failure to reach an agreement to secure their release
