They were chosen by God to be the “ lesson book “ to the nations ; to prepare the world for the coming of Jesus. When He came they rejected Him and killed Him, the Savior. God destroyed their nation in AD70 and exiled them throughout the Roman Empire. He replaced them with the non Jewish people( Gentiles) to now prepare the entire world for His second coming. Adventists are now doing this great work in every nation on the planet.
