A new film titled *City of Dreams*, which exposes the horrors of child trafficking, premiered in theaters last week with significant buzz. Produced by Tony Robbins and distributed by Roadside Attractions, the movie tells the story of Jesús, a Mexican boy whose dreams of becoming a soccer player are shattered when he's trafficked across the U.S. border and forced into labor in a Los Angeles sweatshop. However, like the acclaimed child trafficking exposé *Sound of Freedom*, *City of Dreams* is encountering strange occurrences in theaters.

Reports suggest that some sold-out screenings of *City of Dreams* are actually playing to empty theaters, sparking speculation that tickets are being purchased in bulk to prevent audiences from seeing the film. An alleged AMC employee contacted Human Events editor Jack Posobiec, claiming the company is deliberately suppressing the movie.

“I work at AMC, and our regional managers are instructing us to tell people *City of Dreams* is ‘full’ when it isn’t. I need this job but felt compelled to speak out, and I hope you can use your platform to share this message,” the employee stated. Similar tactics were allegedly used to undermine *Sound of Freedom* during its release.

The mainstream media fiercely criticized the anti-child trafficking film, with some outlets even labeling it as "dangerous." Additionally, the Biden administration and the Department of Defense were sued for canceling screenings of *Sound of Freedom* on military bases without explanation.

Could powerful interests be working to sabotage *City of Dreams* in a similar way?
