When and where is the Kingdom of God? (Luke 17:20-25) John Young, Green Meadow Bible Baptist Church

Many people are eagerly looking for God's Kingdom to come to earth and are wishing for the time they are whisked away from all their troubles and the world is finally cleansed from wickedness. John the Baptist and Jesus began preaching that this Kingdom of God was "at hand" (soon within reach). At this point in Luke 17 Jesus has been promising its coming for about three years and in this passage the Pharisees confront him and demand why they haven't seen it yet. Jesus shows them that it will one day come physically from Heaven but if they wanted it today it would have to come from within themselves.

In this message we review the nine hinderances Jesus previously preached about (in chapters 11-13) that was preventing and hindering people from seeing and entering into his Kingdom, then how we can enter it and manifest it on earth, through the Holy Ghost, even in our day, and finally why it seems as if it has not yet come when in reality, we can have and live in the Kingdom now if we are willing to suffer and endure as Christ did.
