The latest DLC in the Highrise City series named Vacation Season was released in early August. As the name indicates, this DLC offers a new slate of tourist related content and a kind of sub-economy for your city catering to those visitors. For example, new buildings include museums, attractions and hotels with their own star rating system!

Additionally, Vacation Season enhances the core game, with a set of new resources and structures. Plus, it enhances the previous DLC Metro & Planes by creating tourist routes within public transportation to keep your visitors moving and spending money!

It does, however, add to the complexity of an already complex game, which can be daunting to more casual players. It will take management skills to unlock the prerequisites to access the Vacation Season assets. You may have to throttle the game timeline speed up and down to help get to the Vacation Season building options quicker. But, for more meticulous players, it is going to take some time investment.

I give High Rise City: Vacation Season DLC 8 out of 10.

High Rise City is developed by FourExo Entertainment and published by Deck 13. The game is available for PC on Steam and the Vacation Season DLC is a bargain at $9.99. High Rise City: Vacation Season was played on an Alienware 17 R2 and a review code was provided for this report!
