A United States serviceman was attacked in Izmir, Turkey today, according to a video as well as a report by The Mirror.
His attackers placed a bag over his head and lifted him up, chanting Yankee go home.

The man is reportedly a serviceman attached to the U S S Wasp, which docked at Izmir on Sunday as part of a
scheduled visit.

The U S S Wasp is a United States Navy amphibious assault ship.
It is reportedly in the region to support Israeli forces.
