A protester who interrupted former President Donald Trump’s rally in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, on Friday will face misdemeanor charges for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and disrupting a meeting.

The protester, whose identity has not been released, jumped over a barricade and onto a media riser while shouting at Trump.

Trump, who was critical of the media at the time, responded by saying the protester was “on our side.”

The protester was handcuffed, removed, processed, and released. No injuries were reported, and the charges are expected to be filed early next week, NBC News has reported.
