Life Church Cars & Coffee - August 31st, 2024

I woke up extra early, drove over to get my late brothers Corvette, and then headed out to the Life Church Cars & Coffee car meet. I finally arrived about 7:50 AM, and got a good parking spot. The lot was filling up FAST. By 8:15 AM, the lot was jammed packed. I'd say it was the biggest turnout that I've seen at this Summer monthly event. Off to the East side their church, car enthusiasts were parking in the grass field. A wide variety of cars, trucks and bikes were on hand. The "best in show" in my eyes, was the Gold S2000 ( Ford?? ). Other unique rides were a rock climber, and a Hellcat Jeep, and a nice RX-7 convertible. Also check out the chap riding a white briefcase all around. I had a few parties that were interested in my brothers Corvette, but none of them were committed to buying at the moment. Once I got back to my brothers house, I received a text for a reasonable cash offer "today". And shortly there after, they arrived ( with 2 other "interested parties" trying to get there as well. I reached a deal with Kathy & Steve shortly after they arrived, and I finally sold the Vette. Steve assured me that the car was finding a good home. It would end up being Kathy's car after some fixing up. The last part of this video is a short tribute to my late brother Cecil's Corvette, driving off for the last time.
