I Started Removing Wallpaper and Made a Disturbing Discovery

My boyfriend and I recently purchased an old house, diving into some serious renovations. While he’s tackling the major construction projects, I’m left to remove layers upon layers of wallpaper that cover every wall and ceiling. It’s tough work, but there’s something oddly satisfying about peeling away long strips, like skin after a sunburn. I even turned it into a game, trying to see how long I could get a piece before it tore. But then, things took a dark turn. Beneath each layer of wallpaper, I discovered names and dates, all of which matched missing persons' cases when I looked them up. What I thought was just wallpaper turned out to be something far more disturbing. After calling the police, we learned the horrifying truth: what I’d been peeling wasn’t wallpaper at all.
