PRAYERS THAT MOVE MOUNTAINS AND STARTS RAIN STORMS

Do you know why we don't pray more often, and many people never pray? I believe the biggest reason is they have no faith that God will answer their prayers, so why even try?
The scriptures tell us that Elias was a man of like passions, in other words, just like us, yet he prayed earnestly, and it rained not for 3 1/2 years. Then he prayed again, and the range came.
Trusting the Lord and the small things prepares us for those big events, such as stopping the rain or starting the rain. Praying with our children for their little problems will build a foundation in them and allow us to pray for bigger situations.
When I talk on this subject, I want to be quick to remind us. All that prayer is really private fellowship with our loving Father. That is the most important thing that we could accomplish as we go into that season of prayer.
Out of that fellowship comes answers to our petitions and requests.
Also, prayer is not a drive-through shop where we just zip in and zip out, like when we pick up our coffee or hamburgers.
Prayer is a fine dining experience with cloth, napkins, and real silverware. It's there you find that the most important thing you do is have a good conversation. The food is always secondary.
Scriptures tell us that we need to enter into that closet and pray. That was a New Testament reference to a private place of intimacy.
Let us put our faith together in these important days that we live and agree in prayer that God will have his way in the Earth.
