Chocolate-Butterscotch Haystacks are an easy, no-bake treat that combines the rich flavors of chocolate and butterscotch with a satisfying crunch. Here's how to make them:

Ingredients:
1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup of butterscotch chips
2 cups of chow mein noodles (the crispy kind)
1/2 cup of peanuts or any preferred nuts (optional)
Instructions:
Melt the Chips:

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and butterscotch chips.
Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval until the chips are fully melted and smooth. This usually takes about 1.5 to 2 minutes total.
Mix in the Noodles and Nuts:

Once the chips are melted, add the chow mein noodles to the bowl.
If you're using peanuts or another type of nut, add them now.
Gently stir the mixture until the noodles (and nuts) are fully coated with the chocolate-butterscotch mixture.
Form the Haystacks:

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper.
Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the sheet to form small "haystacks." You can make them as large or small as you like.
Cool and Set:

Allow the haystacks to cool at room temperature until they are firm. You can also speed up the process by placing the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 20-30 minutes.
Serve:

Once set, the haystacks are ready to enjoy. Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature or in the fridge.
These Chocolate-Butterscotch Haystacks are perfect for parties, holiday treats, or just a quick and easy dessert that everyone will love!
