I wouldn’t want to become a man like this | Men from childhood that shape us into adults we are now

When I was in primary school, I had this quite intense PE teacher who was taking his sports very seriously. He also treated all of his pupils like the next Olympic athletes pushing them hard, sometimes unreasonably hard no matter the weather conditions or whether they wanted it or not..

At the beginning, I looked up to this person and his attitude had a huge impact on me both positively and negatively in my development as a man.

Now, after many years I share how his words affected my confidence and how I will not be rolling his style when I start teaching swimming.

Hi, my name is Alan Cie. I learned to swim at the age of 32 and it changed my life. I'm making swimming and water an integral part of my life, my job, and my future business.

I talk about anything that is related to swimming, water safety, and water sports. If you would like to offer a collaboration or a joined video together, please reach out via email or Twitter / X.
