Doctors who are helping improve their Quality of Life are being sanctioned, censored, arrested, accused of murder and convicted as felons as in the case of Dr. Chris Christensen of Montano who was convicted and put in prison and Dr. Ibsen who had all his clinic assets seized and forced to shut his clinic down.

The government frowns upon those good doctors who have their own practices and are not DIRECTLY attached to the system.

It just so happens that those doctors that are not directly attached to the system are the ones in very HIGH demand and their patients are healthier.

Patients who need opiates to manage their severe chronic pain are being denied and this neglect is resulting in suicides occurring at alarming rates across America.

Quality of Life DECREASES significantly while living with pain that never subsides.

Chronic Pain does not discriminate against age, sex, or race.

Anyone is just a car wreck or a botched surgery / medical procedure away from suffering long-term pain.

Those suffering from debilitating cancer pain are also completely being ignored. We have become a society that lacks care, empathy & compassion.

Morals have been tossed out the window in favor of hefty paydays.

This invisible crisis needs to be examined.

Society's lack of public information regarding Chronic Pain, has sadly forced this disease and its sufferers underground.

Not only are many denied adequate treatment, they are often looked upon by society as a whole as outcasts.

As our society ages, the numbers of chronic pain patients will only grow exponentially.
This crisis needs to be brought out into the light.
Without education and awareness, there can be no reform.
