Lemon Pound Cake

Moist and Buttery Lemon Pound Cake recipe can be made into Lemon Coconut Pound Cake or Lemon Blueberry Pound Cake or Frosted Lemon Pound Cake or All of the Above!!!!
A versatile, easy and delicious Lemon Pound Cake recipe.

Lemon Pound Cake Ingredients
1 1/3 Cups Granulated Sugar
3/4 Cup Softened Butter
3 Large Eggs, room temperature
1 TBSP Fresh Lemon Juice
2 Tsp - 1 TBSP Lemon Zest
1/2 Cup Sour Cream
1 1/2 Cups AP Flour
1 Tsp Baking Powder
1/2 Tsp Table Salt
OPTIONAL:
stir in 1/2 Cup Flaked Coconut to make Coconut Lemon Pound Cake
or 1 Cup Fresh Blueberries to make Blueberry Lemon Pound Cake

Lemon Glaze*
1 Cup sifted Confectioners Sugar
1 1/2 TBSP Fresh Lemon Juice
1 TBSP Heavy Cream or Half & Half
* this Lemon Pound Cake Glaze recipe is enough to frost the entire cake. Cut Lemon Glaze Recipe in half if you just want a drizzle!
