This 8 part weekly musical documentary series tells the story of the legendary musical figures who rose out of the state over the years from the territorial days right up to today's vibrant musical scene.
The third video in the series presents stories from Minnesota from the fabulous 50's including:

Eddie Cochran- "The Summertime Rebel"-Global superstar and author of the legendary hit Summertime Blues. From Albert Lea Minnesota and died way to soon in a tragic car accident in London England.

Augie Garcia _ The Godfather of early Twin Cities Rock and Roll. Was thrown off the stage at Elvis Presley's first appearance in the Twin Cities because Colonel Tom Parker thought he was upstaging Elvis.

Bobby Vee - Teen age heart throb with 38 Billboard hits and ten hit the top 20. Got his start filling in for Buddy Holly at the Moorhead Armory the night after the tragic plane crash.
