Tornado Warned Squall Line Storm Chase - Cambridge MN - 8/29/24

An enhanced risk of severe weather culminated with a QLCS line of storms with multiple tornado warnings from embedded rotations.

Over 4000 j/kg of CAPE provided ample fuel for these storms to bring possible spin up tornadoes, overwhelming downpours, hail, and beautiful shelf cloud structures with an eye catching steel grey/green/turquoise hue to central Minnesota.

We meet up with a strong rotation and tornado warning in Cambridge MN and follow until the embedded mesocyclone/shelf cloud overtakes us.
