**Report on Police Violence at Peaceful Pro-Palestine Demonstration in Berlin**

On August 31, 2024, around 8:00 PM, we were prevented from going home by the Berlin police after a peaceful pro-Palestine demonstration in Steglitz. Despite the peaceful nature of the protest, we were stopped by the police without any apparent reason at the demonstration's endpoint.

What followed was a shocking display of police violence: One demonstrator was choked by the police, leading to a seizure. He had to be rushed to the hospital. Instead of providing help, the police continued their crackdown and brutally arrested several demonstrators. One protester suffered a severe eye injury, resulting in a hematoma, a bump, and an open wound above the eye. His girlfriend was also assaulted, having her arm twisted before both were violently arrested.

Another protester was dragged across the ground and carried to a police vehicle. Two more female demonstrators were also detained. In total, at least 10 to 12 people were arrested, with many of us suffering injuries.

This violence is unacceptable. We demand justice and an end to police brutality against peaceful demonstrators!
