O'Henry Girl: Agnes Ayes

Agnes Ayres (born Agnes Eyre Henkel; April 4, 1892 or 1898 – December 25, 1940) was an American actress who rose to fame during the #silentfilm era. She was known for her role as Lady #DianaMayo in #TheSheik (1921) opposite #RudolphValentino Unfortunately she was also the plaything of #JesseLasky and #WallaceReid before breaking free and becoming a #BeverlyHillsrealestate mogul in her own right.
