The Business of War - Profits Over People
War, throughout history, has often been justified by ideals such as freedom, security, and national interest. However, from a more cynical and arguably realistic perspective, war is also a business—an industry that thrives on conflict, with enormous profits to be made from the manufacture and sale of weapons, military technology, and services. Today, the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine—supported indirectly by NATO and its member states—serves as a stark reminder of this reality. Behind the scenes, the arms industry benefits immensely from these wars, with powerful states like the U.S. and Russia reaping substantial financial rewards. Despite the public rhetoric of national security and defense, the people caught in the crossfire of such conflicts are the real losers, while those at the top of the pyramid, representing a hidden cabal of elites, fill their pockets.
