Installing a hand pump on the homestead

We bought an emergency hand/well pump from Apocalypse Well Pumps from Belgrade, Mt. They have lots of resources on their website so go check them out.

We wanted a hand pump so we can have clean water even if the power goes out. In the winter, we can get hard freezes so much so that the ditch can freeze over so we needed a way to get us water and our animals. A hand pump was the answer we were looking for... and we didn't have to pull the submersible well pump.
