Homes submerged as heavy rains hit India's Gujarat

Severe flooding submerged streets and homes in India’s western Gujarat state on Wednesday (August 28), as heavy monsoon rains wreak havoc across South Asia. One local resident, Kiran Raoji, said the water “came so suddenly” that he and his family were unable to collect their belongings from their flooded home.
