David Sacks Reveals Why Harris Wasn’t a ‘Soros DA’ Despite Similar Ideology

David Sacks, a tech entrepreneur and political commentator, offers an explanation for why Kamala Harris was not a Soros-funded District Attorney despite her ideological alignment.

“The only reason she’s [Kamala Harris] not a Soros DA is that Soros didn’t start trying to take over these DA races—he didn’t figure out that arbitrage until the mid 2010s, and I guess it was just before her time. But I think that if, if she had started a little bit later… she would have been, you know, funded by Soros…”

Sacks suggests that if Kamala had started her career later, she likely would have received funding from Soros, implying a similarity in their approaches to criminal justice.
