Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry Bans Critical Race Theory In K-12 Schools

The Governor of Louisiana, Jeff Landry, has signed an executive order banning the teaching of critical race theory in every K-12 school in the state.
Gov. Landry saying in a statement that CRT includes divisive teachings that instruct students to view life through the lens of race and victimhood. He believes that every person has equal value, no matter your race, adding that Teaching children that they are destined to be oppressed or to be an oppressor based on their race is wrong and has no place in Louisiana classrooms.
Schools will now prioritize American values and common-sense teachings.
