The Acolyte KILLS Star Wars The High Republic! Keanu Reeves a Jedi?

Lucasfilm is getting ready to cut its losses with the failed High Republic setting for Star Wars. Due to the Acolyte failing so spectacularly, the rumor is the multimedia project that never turned a profit is getting slowly closed down as a means of course correction.

The failure of the Leslye Headland show was almost even more catastrophic. The role of Master Sol that provided a lone bright spot, the acting of Lee Jung Jae, wouldn't have happened if the original casting had gone as planned. The role of the Jedi Master was envisioned for Keanu Reeves. John Wick was supposed to reunite with Trinity in an even more embarrassing production than Matrix: Resurrections. Thankfully, scheduling conflicts prevented this from happening and Reeves career ended up dodging a significant bullet. Or knife. Or poison. Or consensual force choking...
