California's Ballot Counting Scheme

The bill AB969 was passed by the California legislature and forbids California counties from hand counting. It was passed because Shasta County was about to adopt hand counting for their election process. Hand counting, in the California Constitution is still the procedure to use when elections are too close to call; and this rule still persists in close elections after the passage of AB969.

What you need to ask yourself is: 'Why is machine counting so important to the super Democrat majority in Sacramento, that AB969 was drawn up immediately after Shasta County voted to change their counting system?'

With common sense and a knowledge of criminal behavior any citizen can figure out one good reason for Sacramento to protect their ballot counting scheme. After all, the Democrats got their super majority somehow?
