South Carolina Fox Sports Anchor, 28-Year-Old Matt Vereen, Is Arrested For Possessing Child Porn

Posted • August 27, 2024: Fox Sports anchor arrested for possessing and distributing child material, including graphic photos of an 11-13-year-old girl. 28-year-old Matt Vereen was charged with three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. Vereen was tracked by investigators through Gmail, Apple, and other records. The reporter worked as a sports anchor and reporter at Fox 57 in South Carolina. Fox 57 released a statement, saying they "understand the severity of these allegations," and say Vereen "has been placed on suspension pending an investigation." He was released on a $40,000 cash bond.
