Duel In The Sun (1946)

Directed by King Vidor. The film tells the story of Pearl Chavez, played by Jennifer Jones, a half-Native American, half-white woman who is sent to live with distant relatives after her father is executed. Pearl becomes embroiled in a tumultuous love triangle with two brothers: the kind and responsible Jesse McCanles, played by Joseph Cotten, and the wild and violent Lewt McCanles, portrayed by Gregory Peck.
