City Park Lake Dredging August 2024 via DJI Air 3 Drone

Today's drone flight was a chance to check out the progress of the dredging project at the University Lakes in Baton Rouge. It's been a favorite droning spot, but a few years ago, the lake water got so low they overheated in the summertime and some of them got choked with ugly aquatic plants. Even the ducks, pelicans, and egrets couldn't fight their way through.

So a multi-million dollar dredging project was launched to clean and deepen the lakes near LSU. Details are here: https://www.universitylakesproject.org/
