Lenovo thinkstation p500 motherboard removal

A project I am planning on undertaking is swapping out the system board to this computer. I like the design that Lenovo does with thinkstation desktop computers because they are designed in such away where if you have a replacement board, it takes about 20 minutes to swap parts and reattach everything and put that system back in service. Back in 2014 when this was a brand new system it would of been about 2500 to 4500 dollars fully kitted out. A brand new system board at that time from Lenovo was about 300 dollars.

This will be rebuilt and I will keep it as a spare system or a field anti cloud. It remains to be seen.
