A Study done by Morgan Stanley back in 2019 is making its rounds on social media after getting a big boost from Elon Musk.
The CEO of X saying, the data which predicts that by the time 2030 rolls around, 45% of women between the ages 25 and 44 will be single and won’t have any children, is very concerning.
According to the study the number of single women in the U.S. is expected to rise by 1.2% every year, as women choose to commit themselves to working rather than starting a family. The number is up from 41% in 2018.
Many pointing out the negative impact this may have on society as the birth rate is already trending below replacement, and the study shows, that women who are not married and don’t have any children tend to struggle more with mental illness and feelings of low self-confidence.
In addition, they say, the bedrock of any healthy society is the nuclear family, but with the new prediction there will be fewer families and fewer married couples.
