Footage has captured the shocking moment a thug tells two female police officers that he would 'ruin their lives.' Anthony Wilde launched an angry tirade when he was stopped on a country road in Warwickshire.

After Wilde, who was driving a Škoda Fabia, was seen speeding, two unnamed officers from the Nuneaton SNT stopped him, which caused him to become irate and shout: 'Why are you pulling me over?' He then went 'stomping' towards them both and threatened: 'Do you want me to headbutt you?'

Things then 'erupted' with the man swinging punches, elbowing and kicking them while saying: 'I could have done anything to you right now.' At one point, the man even pushed one of their heads into the ground.

In May, Anthony Wilde, 34, of Stratford Avenue in Atherstone, was sentenced to 24 months in prison for two counts of assault causing actual bodily harm, driving without insurance, and failing to provide a specimen for a breathalyser test on request, Warwickshire Police said.

Warwickshire Police released a video of the incident today (Friday, August 23) to show the extent of the abuse its officers face on the job. Statistics revealed that, on average, there are 24 assaults against police officers and staff each month in Warwickshire.
