In response to the threat of virus-carrying mosquitoes, several towns in Massachusetts have instituted voluntary closures. In the first five weeks of 2024, more than 364,000 cases of dengue infection have been reported, according to the country's Ministry of Health, which is four times the number of cases reported in the same period in 2023
