All Things Spiritual-Selling Sin is Easy

Proverbs 23:23 emphasizes the importance of buying the truth, wisdom, instruction, and understanding. Truth is the substance that guides and governs the heart, and it is integral to faith. It is the power that delivers us from sin and constricts us to duty to the gospel. We must be willing to part with any thing for it, as it is a bargain for souls. Riches should be used for the getting of knowledge, not for the gathering of riches. When we use our all-body mind and soul in search of truth, we distinguish between it and error. We must not neglect the study of the truth or revolt from its dominion for any secular interest.

Titus 3:8 affirms the importance of maintaining good works, which are good and profitable to mankind. Believers in God should not believe that a shallow faith will save them, but an operative and working faith. They should seek every opportunity to do good works, as these things are good in themselves and useful to mankind.
