Starting at 6:50 PM with thousands of photographers/journalists, there were yet starkly not as many demonstrators in attendance and still thousands of police also in the surrounding background to the present street front with the Hamas demonstrators: this did not matter to them, but that mattered little.

Unfolding in confrontations and seemingly isolated tousles, the crowd of Hamas demonstrators eventually came up with ramming police in an attempt to unload on the crowd with use of the banners as a ram, but these were just forced to yield to the police force.

After back and forth with the police, the 1968 demo goers eventually lit an Israeli/American split flag on fire while trying to light an actual American flag but failed after it was taken from them.

After this, they moved on to the streets, circling around until they were again stopped by police, but this time they were more and more confronted by police and with RIOT gear equipped and even some National Guard present in the mix to quell the trying rioters.

This all eventually led to a projected 50-70 Intifada members that had been detained after various acts of trying to antagonize and rile up the group and surrounding areas with acts to push a confrontation. Finally, the effort dissipated and the arrestees were brought and processed into the backs of police vans were their fellows were both mocked and/or stared expectantly by those already in the vans.

Police and onlookers eventually came to see the event die out at around 10 PM with most media coming out of the event unscathed with only a few from the Antifa bloc being singled out even to the chagrin of local and international journalists that pointed this out on scene.

Many police were deployed by the thousands and there were more demonstrators, though not as many as were initially believed within the tens of thousands earlier Muslim/organizing leaders within the Palestine/Intifada communities. This, along with the draw of more careful planning has lead to many outsiders seeing the draw down of the demonstrations as better handled than other demonstrations in the past within the US by Hamas groups.

Outside of the groups of preachers, the other sides were Israeli demonstrators, police, and finally the Intifada protesters whom claimed the war as their reason for outrage and the motivation for various actions including going after police upon being arrested.

This was recorded on 500 W Madison Ave in Chicago, IL on August 20th, 2024. This took place within the second day of the DNC national convention and was the proposed draw for the tens of thousands of projected number of demonstrators prior to what were found to be only around over since 10,000 people.
