VALENTINO - Le Noir - Fall Winter 2024-25

"Pierpaolo Piccioli is more than a designer. Indeed, the creative director of Valentino possesses the inimitable qualities of an austere—a skillset that always renders his collection presentations as cinematic performances of the couture and craft. (Though, the presence of Hollywood stars on his front row could also aid theatrics.)

For Fall/Winter 2024, Valentino will continue this mode with an aptly dramaturgical collection titled “Le Noir”. While the name itself could evoke a brooding style of the same name, we here at GRAZIA have taken a different interpretation in line with Piccioli’s propensity for vibrant hues. As some would forget, black is a hue that saturated both the Italian luxuriate’s FW22 show—the collection that introduced the fuschia ‘P.P Pink’ to the world—and the shirting-driven FW23 “Black Tie” show."
