Dr. Samer Hattar and Dr. Andrew Huberman discuss why Daylight Saving Time is bad for health, both due to the shifting on to and off of Daylight Saving, but also due to the later shifting of the day brought by Daylight Saving Time.

Dr. Samer Hattar is the Chief of the Section on Light and Circadian Rhythms at the National Institute of Mental Health. Dr. Hattar is a world-renowned expert on how viewing light at particular times adjusts our mood, ability to learn, stress and hormone levels, appetite, and mental health. Dr. Andrew Huberman is a neuroscientist and tenured professor in the Department of Neurobiology at Stanford University School of Medicine.
